🚛 Vans & Equipment
- Luton vans with tail-lifts (~20m³) and Sprinter
- 7.5-ton/10-ton trucks via partners for larger moves
- Blankets, straps, trolleys, pallet truck (as needed), and tools for dismantling
💷 Pricing & How It Works
Hourly: £85/hr for 2 movers + 1 Luton van (plus VAT).
- 2h minimum for light local jobs (few items, ~within 15 miles / ~45–60 min drive).
- 4h minimum for larger jobs or ~3+ hours round trip.
- Time starts on crew arrival at pickup; ends when job is complete at the final address.
- If it runs over the minimum, extra time is £85/hr + VAT.
Fixed (all-in):
One total (Base + VAT + Total) for the agreed scope—no need to worry about hours. If on-site reality differs (extra items, added stops, unexpected stairs/long carry, no parking), we’ll confirm any adjustment with you before proceeding.
Stairs without lift: +£15 per floor, per property.
Parking & road charges: Please arrange permits/space where required. Waiting or long carries may affect cost. Statutory road charges (e.g., London Congestion Charge/ULEZ, if applicable) may be passed through at cost.
📦 Packing & Furniture
- Packing: £90/hr for 2 packers, or fixed mini-packs (kitchen/fragile)
- Materials: boxes, tape, bubble wrap, wardrobe cartons
- Dismantling/reassembly: £90/hr or fixed per item (bed £35; wardrobe £45–£65)
- Heavy/special items: pianos, American fridges, safes, marble/stone (please advise in advance)
🏠 Access & Practicalities
- Stairs: +£15/floor if no lift
- Parking: client arranges permits/bay suspensions where needed; waiting time counts
- Long carries (>~25m): may add time
- Window/balcony moves: not standard; would require specialist equipment
- Passenger policy: One passenger may ride along if a spare seat is available (Luton vans have 3 seats including the driver). Please confirm in advance. Seatbelt required; no pets/child seats.
🛡️ Insurance & Licence
- Goods in Transit insurance: up to £25,000
- Public Liability cover
- Recycling/Waste licence for clearances
🌍 International & Shared Loads
- Day rate: £500/day (van + crew) + VAT
- Ferry: ~£250 return (if needed)
- Hotel: £80/night/driver (if needed)
- Customs/CMR admin: £60
- Part-loads/shared runs available for small volumes over long distances
🗑️ Clearances
- Baseline: £110 labour + £210 disposal + VAT
- Final price depends on volume and access
- Licensed, legal disposal; we recycle/donate where possible
